Marketing Consultant
I’m one of the newest members of the staff, joining Christensen Broadcasting as a marketing consultant in December of 2011, offering even more area businesses the opportunity to better their business through the “power of radio.”
I was one of the many Thoofts (one of the thirteen kids of Fritz and Bonnie Thooft) who grew up in the Tyler area. I graduated from Tyler High School, then known as Michele Thooft. After high school, I attended Stewarts School of Hairstyling and worked as a beautician at Louise’s Beauty Shop in Tyler. In 1971, I married Fran Lamote, and moved to Marshall. In 1977, we moved to Windom, where we currently reside.
We have 5 lovely daughters and 6 wonderful grandchildren. I love spending time with the grandchildren, but unfortunately we don’t get enough time with them, because five of the six grandkids live in the Milwaukee area. Besides trips to Milwaukee, I enjoy baking, cooking, scrapbooking, watching the Vikings (???) camping, and our favorite outdoor game “Rolle Bolle!”
