Bill VanHoecke

Announcer/Marketing Consultant/Sports

Bill VanHoeckeI started working at KLOH radio in 2003. I was born and raised in Pipestone, graduated from the Pipestone/Jasper High School in 1997 with first hand knowledge of every law enforcement official in town.

After high school I attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA for two years, then I transferred to Mankato State where I was employed as a flight instructor for 2 1/2 years. I then moved to Appleton, WI to fly a learjet for a private company where I became friends with Green Bay Packer’s Quarterback, Brett Favre, (ok, we weren’t friends, but we did know each other). I finally came to my senses and moved back to Vikings Country in 2003, when I started at KLOH.

You can hear me weekdays with Bernie and Collin from 6 AM to 9 AM. You can also hear me from 1 to 3 PM. When not working at the radio station, I spend most evenings as the voice of Pipestone Area Arrows with my good friend Lance covering Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball and Softball, and coming soon……..Water Polo!!

My hobbies include trying to play golf and softball, being a volunteer fireman, and spending time with my family: Mom and Dad (the weather guru Fridays @ 8:25 AM — free plug), my sister and her husband Jeff, and little Will and of course my significant other….Emily and our son, Carson! Listen at your own risk!!
